Well done on achieving 2nd place. Those lifts looked very demanding.
I am nowhere near the lifts you are doing so I am a wee bit 'bowled over' by you right now!

Hey Colin, sorry I’ve not been around much recently.

Well done on achieving 2nd place. Cheers Jane, these are good mornings:

Just out of interest - what are "good mornings"?

Well done.
You were a bit unlucky on the 75 kg snatch. It was a lock out but I've seen worse given. Nice PB on 95kg, very solid, looked easy. Also the 100 kg was a good attempt, you've got a bad habit of leaving your hips back a bit to receive the jerk and you didn't do it on the 100kg which might have cost you the lift. It needs fixing but not during the third attempt in competition!
You're right about the things to work on. The key for you is the third point about keeping your bum down and shoulders up, this should keep the bar close to your shins. Maybe some medium weight dead lifts (concentrating on technique) and some hyper extensions or good mornings to strengthen your back and hamstrings up?
You could have got the total you needed with a bit of luck and I'm sure you will achieve it on your next time out.
