And thanks! :)
Yes, I do 19 with full range. Actually my chest touches the bar in up position. My legs move a bit back and forward when doing max pull-ups but the assistance of legs is not significant. My arms are straight in down position.
Maybe I should try kipping but then I should probably use overhand grip as well.
I have to check the videos. Let's see if I am able to learn new style...

Hi,<br

Yes, learn to do kipping pull ups! ;) If you can do 19 full range of motion body builder pull ups (completely straight arms to chin well over the bar) that is very impressive and you'd be a monster kipper. You can see a video for learning the kip here

> Do you have any suggestions?

Yes, learn to do kipping pull ups! <img

My max pull ups are bodybuilder style because I do not know how to do kipping. I have tried it but I can't utilise my whole body. I also use underhand grip in max reps because I find overhand grip much more demanding.
Actually I would like to have a good pull-up program. How should I train to increase max pull ups up to 25-30 level? If my current max is 19. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi,<br

I'm 184cm but your bodyweight target can only be your own, depending on how happy or not you feel. If you follow the Zone combined with Crossfit, you'll rapidly loose body fat to a healthy level anyway.
Is that max pull ups bodybuilder style or kipping?

Hi Allu. Thanks for inspiring Crossfit blog! :) I did my first Crossfit excercise today and it was Cindy. I managed 15 rouds in 20 minutes.
I am very interested in trying more!
Can I ask you how tall you are (in cm)? You mentioned that you aim to bodyweight 80kg.
I am 177cm / 77-78kg. Wondering if i should try to drop a 2-3kg to have more endurance? I have not measured my body fat, but it is not too high. I have 15 years background of weightraining. No olympic lifts however.
My max in pull-ups (underhand grip) is around 19 reps, so maybe losing some weight would help me to improve that as well.
But it is not easy to lose weight if you train hard, because after training you are hungry. :)
But please give some comments and keep on training!

Hi Colin!<br
