I've been meaning to do a post about the best gym in Cardiff to do crossfit style training. The sneak peek answer is Aspire Fitness, they have a pukka oly platform, Eiliko bar and full set of York bumpers: 5 - 25kg. They are also pleased to see people do proper oly lifting!

As to your confusion, I live in Manchester and work in Newport, so I train at Crossfit Manc Friday and Sat, and Aspire in Cardiff on Tues and Wed.

hi mate

I was wondering where you train too? I'm a little confused as if you train in cardiff or manchester?

I'm asking the question because I live in the cardiff area and my gym doesn't let me drop the bar when OL'ing even though they have bumpers and its proving a problem.

sorry if its a little out of context in regards to the post above.
