My story is exactly the same as yours, (bluetooth headset the lot) right to the part where you got your money back, I am still waiting! Paypal were absolutely no use at all, they said because I actually received the item they closed the claim. My next step was the contact Consumer Direct. I followed all the advise they gave me and then I have to admit I gave up because Datakits still didn't respond. Then in about September/October I got a telephone call from Trading Standards saying they were taking Datakits to court. I don't know how long this takes but I have heard nothing since. I know I didn't spend a great deal of money with this company but it was the principle and I just wanted him to stop ripping people off. He must have made so much money from selling dud goods, I have read reviews that date back as far as 2005 from people with the same complaints. I only wish I had looked them up before I placed the order.

I still have not received this item as of 4 Sep 2009. I have sent 14 emails enquiring as to the ware bouts of my item Datakits have failed to respond to all of them.
I have done some research on since then and found hundreds of complaints against this company. See some below

If Datakits has ripped your off too, don’t' just vent your anger here. Make a complaint to Consumer Direct on 08454 04 05 06 (Consumer Standards) where it makes a real different and help put this terrible company out of business! ! !

On July 9 of this year, I sent them a payment of £19.98 for a iTech S35 Clip Bluetooth Stereo Adapter with 3.5mm Headphones. I thought I should check the net for any further complaints and have been shocked that this company are still trading!!!
Luckily I paid with my VISA so a swift call to the bank and (I would strongly recommend you all do the same to dispute the payment )and then straight onto TRADING STANDARDS to log a complaint and guess what they already have a record of this company, the more of us who make complaints the better they need to be stopped!!!!!
I only order my product 8th July longer than the 5 working days and no response from the 48 hour email/phone ACT NOW

I was beginning to feel optimist that the goods would arrive or at the very least an email response from Data Kits………… I thought I should check the net for any further complaints and have been shocked that this company are still trading!!!<br

You know, just when you think that after 15 years IT experience, you sort of know what you're doing, it's stories like this that prove you wrong. Why oh why I didn't search google for DataKits Complaints and read the hundreds of complaints about them over the last few years, I'll never know!

Sorry to hear that Mike.
