Then you just have to get to the one year mark after birth. Then it's until the kid is old enough to have some sense of personal danger so you don't have to watch them every second. Andd then you realise it never ends. It's a life sentence. Wouldn't have it any other way.

From the very beginning being a parent is about worry and concern At first you hold your breath until you get past the 12 week mark in pregnancy. But yes this is the best possible bad news. it is scooped and contained and she is going to be doubly checked which is great too.
On all other fronts she is fighting fit. Keep up the good work on non obvious worrying, positivity is entirely what is required, well done, keep smiling. Helplessness is crap for sure, no idea about your religious beliefs but got to be worth chatting to God about it I'd say.
Peace over you all.
Enjoy the Christmas festivities and all that snow.

However, she's in capable hands, she's not loosing weight and neither does she have any other signs (well, none that you have reported).
My sincerest thoughts are with you and your family at this time.

It must be extremely concerning as a parent to hear such things. Words fail me…<br

Its great that in the case of your daughter as a result of a visual sign that they could do something about it and then even though it means one, two, or three bits of relatively minor scoopery surgery, it is better to have a v slow grow type of cancer vs the ones that give no obvious signs until something crops up in a routine scan then it demonstrates that there is widespread growths which require chemotherapy, radiotherapy or extensive surgery.
So all in all, a good result for the family McNulty and it reminds us all to be vigilant for any signs of potential trouble. Kung-fu chop those pesky spindle cells into oblivion!!

Hey – good blog entry.
