{"id":1486,"date":"2011-01-06T10:45:23","date_gmt":"2011-01-06T10:45:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/?p=1486"},"modified":"2011-01-06T10:41:49","modified_gmt":"2011-01-06T10:41:49","slug":"paleo-diet-explained-in-a-simple-video","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/2011\/01\/06\/paleo-diet-explained-in-a-simple-video\/","title":{"rendered":"Paleo Diet Explained in a Simple Video"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just saw this video over at <a href=\"http:\/\/crossfitdansk.blogspot.com\/2011\/01\/what-did-you-drink.html\">Mads Jacobsen&#8217;s blog<\/a> which does a great job of explaining the Paleo diet approach: <\/p>\n<div class=\"wpv_videoc\">\n<div class=\"wpv_self\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.skarcha.com\/wp-plugins\/wpvideo\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">WPvideo 1.10<\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"wpv_titleauthor\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wpv_video\"><object data=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/uCFZoqmKf5M&#038;feature\/player_embedded\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/uCFZoqmKf5M&#038;feature\/player_embedded\"><\/param><\/object><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Personally I mostly follow the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/2010\/05\/05\/robb-wolfs-new-paleolithic-solution-book\/\">Paleo diet<\/a> where possible (in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/tag\/zone-diet\/\">Zone Diet<\/a> proportions), but I do add milk and dairy.  The reason is, <strong>we did evolve to drink milk, your mum&#8217;s milk.<\/strong>  Now I realise that cows milk isn&#8217;t quite breast milk, but unless you want to be drinking other women&#8217;s breast milk (although that&#8217;s apparently available on some choice American websites!) it&#8217;s the best you can do.
