{"id":151,"date":"2008-04-22T21:49:41","date_gmt":"2008-04-22T21:49:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/22\/been-busy-recently\/"},"modified":"2008-04-22T21:49:41","modified_gmt":"2008-04-22T21:49:41","slug":"been-busy-recently","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/22\/been-busy-recently\/","title":{"rendered":"Been Busy Recently"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wow\u00a0been a busy\u00a0week or so.\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have had a client who&#8217;s getting slow screwed by his\u00a0arogant web developer who refuses to\u00a0take responsibility for their\u00a0mistakes and I&#8217;m playing piggy in the middle.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Been\u00a0working on promoting\u00a0several client\u00a0sites.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Having issues with one of my outsourced staff not following instructions.<\/li>\n<li>Having to fire some outsourced authors and recruit others.<\/li>\n<li>Dealing with company issues.<\/li>\n<li>Reading &#8220;Getting Things Done&#8221; by David Allen<\/li>\n<li>At not least of which, I&#8217;ve been working on a new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totalheatcontrol.com\/\" title=\"Air Conditioners\">air conditioning website<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Speaking of which, the new air con site hasn&#8217;t yet been spidered by Google since it&#8217;s new pages were launched.\u00a0 This post will serve as an interesting SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) experiment.\u00a0 As I&#8217;m sure you know all search engines work on links to sites and Google swings by this blog once or twice a week so should pick up these links shortly.\u00a0 I&#8217;m betting a few well placed links to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totalheatcontrol.com\/sitemap.php\" title=\"Total Heat Control.com\">TotalHeatControl.com Sitemap<\/a> and the 3 main categories of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totalheatcontrol.com\/cat\/portable-air-conditioning\/\" title=\"Portable Air Condition Units\">portable air conditioning<\/a>\u00a0(mobile air con units with casters), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totalheatcontrol.com\/cat\/split-air-conditioning\/\" title=\"Split Air Conditioning units\">split air conditioning<\/a> (have the noisy compressor outside and quiet air handles inside) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.totalheatcontrol.com\/cat\/commercial-air-conditioning\/\" title=\"Commercial and Industrial Air Conditioning Units\">commercial air conditioning<\/a> (hugely powerful air con units for an industrial setting) should do the job.<\/p>\n<p>On a personal note, the golfers elbow is still a problem, and I seem to have developed a bad back this last week, and oddly a sore bone in my foot.\u00a0 I&#8217;m a wreck, lol.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow\u00a0been a busy\u00a0week or so.\u00a0 Have had a client who&#8217;s getting slow screwed by his\u00a0arogant web developer who refuses to\u00a0take responsibility for their\u00a0mistakes and I&#8217;m playing piggy in the middle.\u00a0 Been\u00a0working on promoting\u00a0several client\u00a0sites.\u00a0 \u00a0 Having issues with one of my outsourced staff not following instructions.
