{"id":237,"date":"2008-10-06T19:54:34","date_gmt":"2008-10-06T19:54:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/?p=237"},"modified":"2008-10-14T11:43:55","modified_gmt":"2008-10-14T11:43:55","slug":"olympic-weightlifting-a-weekend-sport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/2008\/10\/06\/olympic-weightlifting-a-weekend-sport\/","title":{"rendered":"Olympic Weightlifting, a Weekend Sport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Back in June I entered my first local club <a href=\"http:\/\/www.colinmcnulty.com\/blog\/2008\/06\/22\/olympic-lifting-competition-video\/\">Olympic Weightlifting mini-competition at West Wythenshawe, Manchester<\/a>.\u00a0 This weekend we did it again.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not really a competition, as there&#8217;s such a broad range of ages and weights that it&#8217;s unlikely you&#8217;d find anyone in the same category.
