Personally I think that both claims are rubbish, but hey, it&#8217;s a good story!  Don&#8217;t let that detract you from <strong>an entertaining puzzle<\/strong> though, approach it a bit like suduko and you won&#8217;t go far wrong.<\/p>\n<p>There are several versions of the puzzle with different questions and answers, but all work the same way. It is a good brain exercise. I managed it over my lunch break. Here it is:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; In a street there are five houses, painted five different colours.<br \/>\n&#8211; In each house lives a person of different nationality.<br \/>\n&#8211; These five homeowners each drink a different kind of beverage, smoke different brand of cigar and keep a different pet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Einstein&#8217;s riddle is: Who owns the fish?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Necessary clues:<br \/>\n1. The British man lives in a red house.<br \/>\n2. The Swedish man keeps dogs as pets.<br \/>\n3. The Danish man drinks tea.<br \/>\n4. The Green house is next to, and on the left of the White house.<br \/>\n5. The owner of the Green house drinks coffee.<br \/>\n6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.<br \/>\n7. The owner of the Yellow house smokes Dunhill.<br \/>\n8. The man living in the center house drinks milk.<br \/>\n9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.<br \/>\n10. The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.<br \/>\n11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.<br \/>\n12. The man who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.<br \/>\n13. The German smokes Prince.<br \/>\n14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.<br \/>\n15.
