Friday Fun – Paintball Miniguns and Turrets!

I recently went to Asylum Paintball at Pear Mill in Stockport, which was awesome fun. I remember the first time I went paintballing, over 15 years ago, and the only guns available were push-to-load pistols. In fact I remember the revolution that was the pump action paintball rifle! Now the guns are fire-as-fast-as-your-finger-moves semi automatics. It got me thinking though, just how far can you go with paintball gun technology.  Anyone fancy a minigun!

Here’s one actually firing:

But if you thought they were mad, how about a fully remote control sentry gun, think Aliens 1:

How cool is that!

Terrific stuff! Reminds me of DOOM!
I was meaning to ask you about the Zone diet, whats a typical days eating like for us Brits? How much does the food cost etc?

I did a FitDay food log for a month as an experiment, you can checkout what I ate each day for a whole month here: Fitday profile It’s mostly meats, fish, fruit and nuts, with some casseroles then it all goes to pot at the weekend when I drink to much wine and eat too much chocolate!

Remember the Crossfit guidance for eating though: “Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little start, no sugar.” Sometimes you see people amend the end to say “… no refined sugar.”

Basically if you cut out all (or 90% of) the junk carbs in your diet, you won’t be going far wrong. I define junk carbs as: Bread, Pasta, Rice and Potatoes.
